Gran Orendain Extra Añejo 7 Years Tequila
The apex of the Gran Orendain range, aged for 84 months in american white oak barrels, previously used for bourbon. This seven-year expression combines all the experience and expertise accumulated by the Orendain family since the opening of their distillery, La Mexicana, in 1926. Upon nosing, an inviting aroma with a powerful note of agave and a fresh touch of bell pepper is perceived. This combination creates an intriguing sensation that encourages further exploration. On the palate, one experiences a very pleasant spice hit, with noticeable sweetness and a touch of vanilla that complements a persistent minerality that lingers long after swallowing. The complexity of this tequila unfolds gradually with each sip, inviting repeated enjoyment to discover its more subtle nuances. Its finish prompting repeated sips to allow its complexity to fully develop is simply wonderful. This tequila is elegantly presented in a gift box, making it a perfect gift for connoisseurs and tequila lovers.
