The "Crème of Cassis de Dijon" by Philippe de Bourgogne is a typical French liqueur, obtained by maceration of fresh blackcurrant, without colorings or other aromas. It is sweet, dense and fruity. It is used for the creation of luxurious cocktails, including the famous Kir Royal.
